All sales go to developing the community growing space at Coed Hills Forest garden.
There are many of the usual things we supply, plus a few new and unusual plants like the yacon to try for those of you who never have!
If you would like any more info about the seeds on the list, please send me an email or text on whatsapp on the contact info above and I will get back to you with more info.
This seed collection is constantly evolving. We focus on a small scale, self-sufficient approach using organic growing methods.
The vast majority of these seeds are “in-breeders” and so open pollination is not an issue.
The ‘out-breeders’/promiscuous crops in this list can potentially cross pollinate, as we don’t isolate. (Chillies, Squash)
We let them potentially cross and have good results. If we don’t like the result from the orriginal, we buy in fresh stock.
We have good results even with a few odd crosses here and there, notably the squash (hence the names!). The Squash we grow are incredible. We always have huge yields, and they are all the dense winter type. We can store them regularly over 1 year from point of harvest.
Also a note on the beans – We grow beans both for the fresh pods and for the dried seed, for stews etc, but they can all be used interchangeably if you like! There are some that are better than others for the different purposes so we have separated them out on the list below.
Thanks for your orders!
Have a great festive season!
